Brenda P. Dear Mom, I am writing this letter to tell you some reasons why I think that I should have a dog. I really think that I am old enough to own a dog. I will take a lot of responsibility of this dog I promise you because I really want a dog. I know that right now you aren’t convinced. But by the end of this letter you should be convinced. Please keep reading this letter & you will find out how much I really want a dog. I want a dog because it will watch the house when we aren’t home. They will guard other dogs & people from hurting us. They say that there is a 65% less chance that we will be robbed. Also because it will keep me out of the house while you are cleaning the house. It will keep me happy & it is good when you are happy because that means no stress & that equals a longer life. Also because this is going to teach me about responsibility which is good thing for you & I. I know that you are thinking that this going to cost you a lot of money, who is going to clean up its do dos, & about the food problems. I got solutions to all of these problems. We can adopt the dog from one of the dog centers & they will give the dog all of its shots for about $85. They could even spade her too & it will not cost no more that what it already is. Also for the problem of the do dos I could take it for walks & when it wants to do its business I could pick it up with a plastic bag then throw it away. About the food problems we can go to Costco because they sell big bags a food for dogs & it is not as expensive as it would be at a dog store. I think that any of the problems that you might have had have been answered, & you now know some of the reasons why I think that you should let me have a dog. I will do anything that is possible for me to have a dog. I will be cleaning up its mess when it makes one. Pick up its do dos when it does them. Hopefully you will say yes because dad & I already went to adopt one…. I’m just kidding I wouldn’t do that behind your back…or would I. Well I hope that on the weekend you & I could go look for a dog to adopt. PLEASE…
